BY-LAWS OF ANTE HUNT CLUB
1.No quorum is needed to conduct business, as long as all officers and five (5) stockholders are present. Only a majority vote of people present is required. When officers or stockholders are unable to attend, a letter of voting proxy can be presented to an officer of the club. Voting proxies will be on file with the Club Secretary as a matter of record.
2.The use of alcohol before or during any hunt will result in membership being withdrawwn and forfeiture of annual dues and/or fees paid.
3.Any member that damages a landowner's property in any way will be held fully responsible.
4.Members will be held fully responsible for their guests, and guests have to stay with a member at all times.
5.Guests will abide by the same rules as members.
6.All members will attend five (5) work parties per year and one (1) "Dog Pen Duty".
7.Members and guests will stay on their stands during organized hunts until the hunt is called-off by the HUNT MASTER.
8.All members and guests will sign the logbook each morning before the hunt. All members and guests will sign the required landowner waivers and club waivers prior to hunting.
9.Any member who wishes to hunt on other than an organized hunt day will be allowed to do so after contacting a club officer , and will be held fully responsible for all club property and land. Organized hunt day: first week, last week, Saturdays and Holidays.
NOTE: Dogs will be run on organized hunt days only consisting of the first week, the last week, Saturdays and holidays only, unless otherwise authorized by the Hunt Master.
10. All deer ans turkey will be tagged and checked at the Ante Hunt Club checking station and brought back to the club house for meat to be divided, except game killed on other than an organized hunt day. Meat will be divided and drawn each day and supervised by a designated club official.
11.After the hunt all members and guests will clean clubhouse and look for dogs.
12.A minimum of vehicles will be used during each hunt. All others will be left at the club house to reduce damages to roads.
13.Each season, guest fees of $20.00 per day will be charged, limited to three (3) visits only. A fee of $10.00 will be charged for Non-Hunting. All meals will be $4.00 per meal unless otherwise designated.
14.Half of the dues are to be paid by APRIL 1st. Dues must be paid in full by JUNE 1st. If dues are not received by the above dates, there will be a $50.00 late charge, which is due fifteen (15) days from the billing date. If dues plus late charges are not received from members by APRIL15th and JUNE 15th, they will be terminated from the club. Dues are non-refundable. Ante Hunt Club membership will run from April1st to March 31st.
15.Each member may be reviewed at anytime throughout the entire membership year by the Executive Committee consisting of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary and may be removed from the membership of this club based on the outcome of this review of their behavior.
16. The use of a spotlight for any reason, other than an emergency, shall result in a membeer or a member's automatic dismissal.
17.No guest will be allowed the first seven (7) days except immediate family.
18. Any member under nineteen (19) years of age must come under the clubs ruling for use of any firearm.
19. A $100.00 fine (per work party) will be assessed to any member who misses the required number of working parties.
20.The club will feed dogs used for the hunt and kenneled at the hunt club during the hunting season.
21.Hunting for any game out of season or illegal hunting or violating State and/or Federal game laws ill result in membership being withdrawn and forfeiture of all dues and/or fees paid.
22.In the interest of promoting hunting with the young and in the interest of providing a safe camping and hunting experience for all members of Ante Hunt Club, the following applies to "hunting" seasons and "non-hunting" seasons at Ante Hunt Club.
A."HUNTING SEASON": Though Ante Hunt Club does encourage the participation of junior members, the attendance of any youth or child under nineteen (19) during the entire fall hunting season and spring gobbler season will be fully and stringently restricted only to hunters actively participating in the club hunts while being fully accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian or adult so designated by the parent in accordance with the regulations of these By-Laws.
B."NON_HUNTING SEASON": Outside of the regular hunting season, youths under the age of nineteen (19) must always be accompanied and fully supervised by a parent or legal guardian or adult so designated by the parent at any and all times when on club property and will not be allowed to roam the property unsupervised by a parent, unless otherwise approved by a club officer. The supervising adult of the youth must possess an up-to-date club membership and be directly present with the children at all times.
